先后于华东师范大学生物系毕业获理学学士学位、安徽工程大学任教、武汉大学生物化学助教进修班学习;之后于南京农业大学获理学硕士学位(导师:陈永萱教授、博导,潘迎捷研究员、博导),于山东大学获理学博士学位(导师:马桂荣教授、博导,庄文颖研究员、中国科学院院士),于第二军医大学从事博士后研究工作(导师:戚中田教授、博导)。

2004年以来,先后于合肥工业大学任教授、硕士生导师、博士生导师、系主任、安徽省教学名师。先后主持国家及省部级纵向项目20余项、横向项目10余项,主持省、校级教学质量工程项目10余项,以第一(或通讯)作者在国内外核心期刊发表论文140余篇,其中高质量论文70余篇,近30项国家发明专利获批授权(第一发明人);主编省规划教材两部;培养硕、博研究生(其中境外博士生2名)及博士后50余名。
